The room was great, spacious, clean and well laid out. The breakfast was very yummy and I stayed for a few drinks in the evening, a good selection. The location of the hotel was brilliant and very handy to have the Calgary Tower opposite as a way to navigate back to the hotel. Good location for trains and busses as well.

The open, welcoming downstairs area. A special extra: the maintenance guy was able to open my samsonite suitcase. Somehow the lock attachment on the end of the zip had been wedged into the lock during handling from my flight from LA and I could not gei it open! The guy carefully used giant cutters to cut the lock attachment, yet still enable me to use the zipper. I don't know what I would have done without this help. The little touch at checkout where there was a bowl of freshly made chocolate coated , mouyhsized sweets, wrapped in cellophane for guests to eat. They were delicious and it was so thoughtful. The quality of the food, which was excellent. A lot of care in devising the menu and great execution. Talented chef. Great king sized bed. Great location, in the centre of downtown.

The location is FANTASTIC, especially for getting around the city on foot. Saltlik is one of the best restaurants in the city and is only a very short walk away. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly! We were put in a room right above the rooftop seating of a nearby restaurant on a Friday night. I was concerned at first as the music was blaring. To our surprise, they shut down at 10pm and it was quiet from then on, which we really appreciated as we had our young son with us.

Location. Contemporary style. Great size rooms and nice to have a seating area. Extremely clean everywhere. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed for one night but if we return to Calgary for a longer trip we will definitely stay here.

Location, Valey parking, clean remote seal, beds super comfortable 👌. Easy access to milestones restaurant thru hallway. Plenty of couches in lobby and cozy atmosphere inside. There was a canteen like kiosk on side of main desk open 24 hrs with small items billing direct to room. Much appreciated. Plenty of towels and hot water.

The room was lovely and clean - we added club access for our second night and that was really good value as it included breakfast. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the Calgary Tower. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful :-)

We were on the 9th floor Perfect for the spectacular view of Downtown. The beds are very comfortable, the blinds blocked out the light, there was zero disturbance and we were able to control the room temperature. I really enjoyed my sleep, and my stay overall was good.

Breakfast at the One 18 Empire was phenomenal, staff were amazing. Great view from my room

location for the Stampede Parade and Fairgrounds couldn't have been better; walking along the river was excellent; visit to Kensington Village was lovely destination; viewing of parade from the 3rd floor patio was a wonderful surprise for Elite Members; Lounge breakfast and lobby bar were both very convenient and excellent.
